Jo Krueger

Jo Krueger lived in New Glarus during her early years, then she moved to Madison.

Krueger earned a degree in medical technology and worked in research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then the UW Hospital Diagnostics Laboratory until her retirement.

“That’s when I could start having fun,” laughed Krueger. “Quilting is just one way to have a lot of fun, but it is addictive to the point where your children tell you to stop sending them quilts. You have to stay out of quilting shops so you don't buy more fabric. I wish other quilters to have all of the fun that I’ve had.”

Krueger said that the Belleville Public Library staff have been so extraordinarily pleasant and helpful.

“One quilt seems like a meager repayment,” added Krueger.
