What is available at Belleville?
The Belleville Public Library collection contains a wide variety of materials including:
- Fiction and nonfiction books
- Magazines and newspapers
- Music CDs
- Audio books on CD
- Playaway Digital Audio Books
- DVDs and videocassettes
- Computer and video games
- Downloadable eBooks and Audio Books through Overdrive
- Local history materials
What is available through LINKcat?
Patrons also have access to about three million items through the shared resources of the South Central Library System. Patrons may search and place holds on these materials themselves using LINKcat or ask one of our librarians to assist them in locating any desired items.
Patrons will be notified via phone, text or email when their items are available at the Belleville Public Library for pickup.
How Do I Access LINKcat?
Library users can access LINKcat, the online catalog, from their home or office seven days a week, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 a.m. More information about LINKcat can be found here.
Where are materials located?
- Children and teen materials are located on our main level.
- Most adult materials are located in the lower level, which is accessible either by stairs or elevator.
- Adult DVDs, music CDs, and new items are located on the main level.
- Local history materials are in the Wisconsin Room.
