Augmented Reality Sandbox

Augmented Reality Sandbox Wednesday, July 11 at 5:00 pm. For All Ages

When: Wednesday, July 11, 5:00 pm
Where: Belleville Public Library

Make it rain in the library!  The AR Sandbox is an augmented reality experience where you can create landscapes in the sand and see a color elevation map complete with contour lines painted in real time over what you have created.
Build mountains and lakes and learn how watersheds define where the simulated rainfall you create will flow.  Floodplains can be visualized and you can see how much or how little the water must rise to pose threats to buildings and the people that live there.
People of all ages will enjoy playing in this sandbox and each will learn something a little different.
