Our 2013 Summer Library Program is a fun way to include reading and related activities into summer family time.

Registration is easy and starts June 10th.  Just stop by the  library to sign up.  Start reading to earn some neat prizes like passes to Mallards baseball games, the Dane County Fair, and Cave of the Mounds along with entries for our Grand Prize drawings. 

We have separate reading programs for preschoolers, school-age kids, and teens (entering 7th grade and up).  And there is also a reading program for adults  with a fabulous grand prize -- a two-night stay at Wilderness Lodge at the Wisconsin Dells.

Upcoming Events

All programs are at the Belleville Public Library unless otherwise noted.

Story Time is geared for children age 2 - 5  years old.  Older and younger siblings are welcome to join the fun.  For all events, children age 5 and under must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Tues, June 18, at 1 p.m. -- Dig Into Crafts -- Have some Gnome Fun.

Wed, June 19, at 2 p.m. -- I Dig Movies -- Movie and Popcorn -- children age five and under must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Fri, June 21, at 10 a.m. -- Duke Otherwise at Library Park -- silly songs and stories for 2-12 year olds.

Wed, June 26, at 2 p.m. -- Digging in the Dirt -- Make a Worm Farm.

Fri, June 28, at 10 a.m. -- Dig Into Story Time -- Big Machine Stories.

Fri, July 5, at 10 a.m. -- Dig Into Story Time -- Bubble Stories.

Tues, July 9,  7 p.m. -- "Jaws" Teen Movie Party for grades 7 and up

Thur, July 11, at 2 p.m. -- Dinosaur Encounter at Belleville H.S. Auditorium -- see life-size dinosaur fossils.

Tues, July 16, at 1 p.m. -- I Dig the Angry Birds "Live" at Library Park -- Play a life-size Angry Birds game, make a craft, and have a snack.

Thur, July 18, at 2 p.m. -- Mad Science! at H. S. Auditorium -- for children age 4 - 12.

Fri, July 19, at 10 a.m. -- Dig Into Story Time -- Hidden Treasure Stories.

Wed, July 24, at 2 p.m. -- Dig Into Science -- Mini Dinosaur Dig Kits. 

Fri, July 26, at 11 a.m. -- Juggling Funny Stories with Chris Fascione at Library Park followed by  our Picnic and Grand Prize Drawings at noon.

Fri, July 26 -- Last Day to turn in reading records for prizes.
